CIBSE Lifts Group – Lift Traffic Analysis and Simulation Open Forum – 1-2 March 2011

This is an opportunity for specialist practitioners in traffic design to meet and to discuss areas of common interest.  The format will be presentations by invited experts, followed by discussion.  Discussions will include how simulation should be applied in planning new lift installations.  Where possible, consensus will be sought and reported.

CIBSE Lifts Group Chairman, Michael Bottomley, explains “The CIBSE Lifts Group is the place where people with an interest in the industry meet to share opinions. The forthcoming Traffic Analysis forum will facilitate all those with a specialist interest in the subject to meet and agree the evolution of the principals of lift planning.”

The Forum, which will be held at the Institute of Physics, 76 Portland Place, London, will be chaired by Mr Adam Scott, Chairman of the CIBSE Guide D 2010 Steering Committee.
